Job Description
La Community Bank LTD seeks to employ a suitably qualified person for the position of: Finance Manager
Role Summary
• Lead in the maintenance, control, planning, and production of financial and management records in adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and standards
Qualification/Experience
• A minimum of first degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or similar qualification from a recognized university
• Final certificate of ICA (Ghana) or ACCA
• A minimum of 7 years of finance experience with at least 5 years in the financial services industry
• Proficient in the use of an Accounting software
Knowledge and Skills
• Banking operations and regulatory frameworks both local and at the international level including IFRS, BASEL 2, and other international standards
• Accounting principles, procedures, financial reporting standards, and business planning processes
• Tax laws and related regulations
• Bank of Ghana regulations and directives
• Developments and trends in the financial services industry
• Labour law & practice
