UG Legon Recruitment for Graduate Research Assistants (Nestle Ghana Limited)

The University of Ghana (UG) Legon recruitment for Graduate Research Assistants in collaboration with Nestle Ghana Limited.

The University of Ghana and Nestlé Ghana Ltd have available funding for a 12 months’ Graduate Research Assistant position starting in August, 2019 on the following topics:

1.       Pod characterization based on the level of maturity for non-acidic fermented cocoa beans

o        Preferred student background – Food Science, Crop Science, Food Process Engineering, Plant Biology or Chemistry

2.       Using sustainable processing to deliver affordable nutritious beverages combining cocoa pulp and African nuts

o        Preferred student background – Food Science,  Food Process Engineering or Family and Consumer Sciences

3.       A deep dive into what Sub-Saharan Africans are eating, what nutrient gaps exists and opportunities to help reduce the gap

o        Preferred student background – Nutrition, Family and Consumer Sciences or Dietetics

ELIGIBILITY

University of Ghana MPhil 2nd Year students in good standing.
