The education system in Norway has been upgraded to an international level. Most Norwegian universities do not charge tuition fee. So we will be sharing the tuition-free universities in Norway, scholarships for international students and how to apply. The information on this page is very specific to students who wish to study in Norway.
As earlier stated, tuition in most Norwegian institutions are free for international students, especially from developing countries, you only have to take care of your living expenses. It is important to note that most of these schools don’t offer Bachelor Programmes (B.A. and B.Sc.) in English Language. However, most postgraduate programmes are taught in English.

SCHOLARSHIPS IN NORWAY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

University of Oslo International Scholarships
The University of Oslo is open for only to outstanding international students for Bachelors and Masters Degrees. This scholarship is offered annually. Students from Africa, Asia, Oceania, Central America and South America can apply.

HOW TO APPLY FOR TUITION-FREE UNIVERSITIES IN NORWAYÂ
Admission applications into a Norwegian university are sent directly to the specific institution. The institutions and their websites are listed above. However, method of application vary from school to school but the procedure are largely the same.
Applicant must read and satisfy the admission requirements for a specific school before applying. When in doubt, you can contact the university using the contact information on the school website for assistance.
FREE UNDERGRADUATE STUDIES IN NORWAY
Admission into undergraduate studies in Norway are coordinated by the Norwegian Universities and Colleges Admission Service (NUCAS). All applicants with foreign secondary education, holding a permanent or renewable residence permit for Norway must apply for admission through NUCAS. Undergraduate online application deadline is 1st March (could be earlier for some schools) for foreign applicants, and all requirements must be mer by 1st July.
FREE POSTGRADUATE STUDY IN NORWAY (MASTERS AND PH.D.)
As earlier mentioned, not all courses in Norway universities are taught in English. If you don’t understand Norwegian, search for courses taught strictly in English Language. Courses for which the language of instruction is English can be found here. For Ph.D programmes, you will have to check each institution individually.
As a rule, Norwegian Universities, state university colleges and art academies do not charge tuition fee for international students. However, students have to take care of their cost of living. In that regard, interested applicants should read about the cost of studying and living in Norway.
