Israel Visa Requirements for Ghanaians

Israel Tourist Visa Requirements

  1. Completely filled visa application form (click here to download ). Must contain: applicant’s email address, applicant phone number.
  2. Receipt of payment from the bank GH₵80 (for tourist visa) deposited into the account 048-129-5793– at any Barclays bank branch. No payment refund in any case (even if a visa is refused)!
  3. Original bank account statements (last 6 months).
  4. Passport valid for a minimum of one year
  5. Two (2) passport pictures on a white background (5cm X 5cm)
  6. Original letter of employment. – must contain the name of applicant, date, company logo, the period of employment/ monthly salary, company’s phone number and email address.
  7. If the applicant owns a company:
  8. Original company bank account statement (last 6 months).
  9. Original company registration documents.
  10. Applicants under 35 years old who are married must submit a photocopy of a marriage certificate.
  11. Medical insurance to Israel.
  12. Hotel reservations.
  13. Flight reservations.

Israel Business Visa Requirements

Applicants visiting the State of Israel for business purposes must submit the following documents:
  • Clearly printed out copy of visa approval receipt.
  • Passport valid for a minimum of one year.
  • Clearly filled out the visa application form, (click here to download ).
  • 2 passport pictures on a white background (5cm X 5cm).
  • Letter of invitation from company in Israel.
  • Applicant’s personal bank statement for the last six months.
  • Company’s bank statement for the last six months.
  • Tax clearance certificate.

Israel Student Visa Requirements

Applicants who wish to study in Israel are required to submit the following documents:
  • Passport valid for a minimum of one year.

  • 2 passport pictures on a white background (5cm X 5cm).
  • Letter of admission from School/institution in Israel
  • Official Bank Statements for the last six months (In case of sponsorship, include statements of applicant and sponsor).

Israel Conference & Exhibition Visa Requirements

From time to time, the Israel Embassy in Ghana will promote certain commercial conferences and exhibitions in Israel. Applicants who wish to visit those events are expected to submit the following documents via courier at least three clear weeks before the date of travel:
  • Passport valid for a minimum of one year.

  • Letter of invitation from company in Israel.
  • Applicant’s personal bank statement for the last six months.

Israel Official & Diplomatic Visa Requirements

Applicants who hold official travel documents (Service or Diplomatic passports) may apply directly to the Israeli Embassy in Accra.
The following documents must be submitted via courier:
  • Passport valid for a minimum of one year.
  • Clearly filled out visa application form, (click here to download).
  • Official letter from institution stating  purpose of travel
  • 2 passport pictures on a white background (5cmX5cm)
SERVICE OR DIPLOMATIC PASSPORT HOLDERS DO NOT NEED TO PAY VISA FEES

Israel MASHAV Visa Requirements

Applicants who have been accepted to attend MASHAV courses in Israel may apply directly to the Israeli Embassy in Accra. The following documents must be submitted via courier:
  • Passport valid for a minimum of one year.
  • Clearly filled out visa application form, (click here to download ).
  • Official letter from institution stating  purpose of travel
  • 2 passport pictures on a white background (5cmX5cm)
MASHAV CANDIDATES DO NOT NEED TO PAY VISA FEES

Document Authentication for Israel Visa in Ghana

Before any document is brought to the Embassy of the State of Israel for Authentication or stamping, kindly note the following:
  • First, take the document to High Court for authentication
  • Next, take the document to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for legalization
  • Go to any Barclays Bank Branch and make payment for each document. ( attach receipt(s) after payment)- refer to visa Fees below
  • Attach two coloured photocopies of the passport page of the owner of the document or applicant
  • Also attach a letter from the lawyer of the applicant explaining why the document should be authenticated or stamped.
  • Send the documents via courier service and the Consular section will contact you within two to three clear weeks after successful submission.

How to Apply for Israel Visa in Ghana

  1. Download the Israeli Visa application form (click here to download). Fill it completely and with all sincerity.
  2. Pay the required visa application fee as stated below.
  3. Send the completed visa form, receipt of payment of visa fee and every other supporting document to the Israeli embassy in Ghana via courier service. Note, the embassy does not accept hand delivery of document.
  4. The processing period is between two to three clear weeks (minimum).
  5. Once your visa application has been approved, you will be called to contact the Courier service to pick up your visa.
  6. Pick-up hours:  Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 13:00
Please note:
1. Visa/Consular fees will not be refunded in any case!
2. Applications without full information and required documents will not be checked at all.

3. The part of the form that reads ‘Permanent address abroad” refers to your contact details in your country of origin).

4. The Embassy however, reserves the right to request further information or documentation from applicant, when necessary.
