We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

Job Title: Web Developer

We require a responsible web developer as and when needed, to modify our website from layout to function according to our specifications as well as incorporating SEO functions. We strive to create a visually appealing site that features a user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Update website layout by using standard WordPress practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain WordPress documentation
• To be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them into operations
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• To have the ability to manage a range of tasks and meet deadlines

Duration

• Three (3) months contract

Job Title: Science Instructor / Party Entertainer

Do you have what it takes to be a children’s entertainer? We are currently recruiting for science presenters/instructor’s to work with children in the Accra area. We are a start-up called Terrific Scientific Busters and we bring the fun out of science combining education and entertainment.

We require reliable, enthusiastic, and very well organised individuals with great performing skills to present our science programmes to children between the ages of 4 -12 years. Our science programmes take place in school clubs, assemblies and special events such as kids birthday parties! We are looking for a (part-time) presenter to join our team of energetic and reliable and very hard working science instructors/presenters. Candidates must be inspirational, dynamic and have a keen interest in promoting fun, stimulating learning for children.

Responsibilities

• To provide science club programmes to primary schools and educational establishments for children 4-12 years
• To provide party entertainment service to children through children birthday parties and popular children’s events.
• To be very responsible and well organised for all presentations.
• Have impeccable punctuation and reliability (excellent time management is crucial)
• To always work on and improve  your  performing skills
• Be confident and fluent with all scripts.
• To make learning fun and exciting for children
• Collaborate with  team members and work effectively as a team
• Be energetic, enthusiastic and very hard working

Job Title: Marketing Assistant

We require an individual who is passionate about marketing and everything related to it including social media engagement and content creation (i.e. blogging). The role requires contributing to spreading the word about our start-up, which is an innovative concept with a mission to make science fun, exciting and promote STEM to children.

We are looking for a creative marketing assistant to join our growing company to increase and expand engagement and outreach! We are a fast-paced growing team and there is a lot of scope for growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop a social media strategy and set goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement.  Manage social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and plan content.
• To create newsletters for e-mail subscribers  and other content  including blogs
• Create a strong and effective marketing campaign that produces materials and communications that get the word out.
• To provide and keep up to date content for the website
• To work collaboratively with other team members
• Conduct customer and market research.

Duration

• Three (3) months contract

Job Title: Assistant Creative Director

We are looking for an experienced Creative Director to assist with brand awareness and creative projects within the company.  You are to develop ideas and impressive projects using concepts and strategies for the venture and will monitor its progress. You will be able to implement your creative vision and become the point of reference for any creative plan that wants to make its way to the customers. The goal is to achieve the best possible outcome of our projects visually and to meet customer expectations and drive our sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

• To work very closely with the project manager and other team members  to create, develop and implement creative projects
• To develop new concepts for customers and schemes to maintain encourage and retain engagement.
• Collaborate with team members effectively.
• Lead brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas
• Revise content and presentations
• Propose actions for the future
