The ranking of passports indicates how hard it is for African travellers to visit other countries. Apart from the least ranked countries, most African travellers can visit fewer than 100 countries without a visa.

For example, Nigerians may only travel to only 46 countries without a visa, while Ethiopians can travel to 43 countries.
