The Gambia Technical Training Institute (GTTI) undergraduate admission form for the 2024/2025 academic year is out.

Admission of candidates to undergraduate degree programmes for the 2024/2025 academic year

It is hereby announced for the information of prospective Applicants and the general public that applications are open for admissions to Degree Programmes of Study at The Gambia Technical Training Institute under the tutelage of KNUST for the 2024/2025 Academic Year.

Applicants who have examination results as at the time of application and applicants who will be writing WASSCE in 2023 are eligible to apply.

Programmes on offer are as follows:

• BSc. Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• BSc. Civil Engineering
• BSc. Mechanical Engineering

Programmes duration

• 4 years

Entry requirements

• WASSCE/SSSCE APPLICANTS

Six (6) Credit Passes at WASSCE/SSSCE including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Further Mathematics. 

ADDITIONAL/FURTHER MATHEMATICS is required for all the engineering programmes

• A’ LEVEL APPLICANTS

FIVE (5) credits at O’ Level including English and Mathematics, plus, EITHER THREE (3) Passes at A’ Level in: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Physics with an ‘A’ Level credit in Chemistry.  OR   Passes at A’ Level in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry

• MATURE APPLICANTS

Applicants must be 25 years at the time of submitting the Application with EITHER Five (5) credits at the O’ Level including: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. OR WASSCE/SSSCE credits in THREE (3) Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Science), plus credits in THREE (3) Elective Subjects (Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry).

APPLICANTS ARE TO GENERATE AN E-VOUCHER FROM THE KNUST WEBSITE AT https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO APPLY.

Completed applications, together with receipt of payment, should be submitted by post to:

Only applicants who have paid their application fee will have their applications processed.

Tuition Fee, per academic year, is D70,000.00 (Equivalent of $1,400.00) for Gambians and D87,500.00 (equivalent of $1,750.00) for foreign students.
