The Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) Second Session 13th Congregation Ceremony Schedule (date, time and venue) and registration procedures for 2020 has been released.
The management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) wishes to announce to students who successfully completed their postgraduate studies during the 2018/2019 academic year and the general public that the schedule for the second session of the 13th congregation ceremony has been announced.
GIJ Congregation Ceremony Schedule
The GIJ Congregation Ceremony has been scheduled to hold as follows.
Date: 13th March 2020
Time: 10:00 am
Venue: Main Auditorium, College of Physician and Surgeons
GIJ Congregation Registration Procedures
Graduands are required to pay GHC 350 (non-refundable) into the institute’s account number 6010160472 at any branch of Zenith Bank, present the payment slip and register at the Graduate School Secretariat and collect their graduation gown.
All students who wish to be present at the First Session of the 13th congregation ceremony are required to register by Tuesday 10th March 2020. Only those who have registered by this date will be presented.
Those presented will be expected to be seated by 9.30 am on Friday 13th March 2020 in the academic gown appropriate to their programme, worn preferably over a suit/jacket with a tie or other suitable dress.
Graduands are to note that those who do not attend the 13th congregation ceremony will also pay the same amount before their certificates are released to them.
NOTE: Certificates can be collected from Monday 24th March 2020, upon the submission of the academic gown, ID Card and Clearance Form.
Failure to return the academic gown after one week will attract a penalty of GHC100.00.
