Job Title: Assistant Administrative Officer

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Maintain personal files and file all correspondence on them accurately.
  • Keep personal files under strict confidential control.
  • Release personal files only upon instruction from a superior.
  • Prepare monthly report on staff at the post and separate report (to include resignation, termination, dismissal, interdiction, and death)
  • Draft letters and process all claims namely: T&T, Vehicle maintenance allowance, loans, insurance, medical bills, bereavement grants, etc.
  • Process resignation, retirement, and dismissal letters.
  • Prepare a list of job applicants.
  • Supervise the secretarial staff at the office of the registry to ensure that they work efficiently.
  • Prepare a list of staff recommended for promotion/increment and withholding of increment
  • Prepare annual staff incremental sheet for both senior and junior staff
  • Prepare Leave Advice
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Title: Assistant Audit Officer

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Check transactions recorded in the books of accounts generally by the audit program.
  • Verify assets, inventories of stores, and cash.
  • Inspect purchased items before processing bills for payment.
  • Pre-auditing of bills and vouchers for payment/
  • Assist in conducting routine audits
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Job Title: Assistant Accounts Officer

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pay and keep terminal benefits records.
  • Prepare staff salaries, wages, loans and advances.
  • Monitor and check salary payment and allowance on computer input and outputs.
  • Maintain all loan ledgers(i.e personal loans and educational loans)
  • Maintain welfare and store ledgers.
  • Write cheques.
  • Write and keep cash books and reconcile with ledgers.
  • Establish Letters of Credit.
  • Prepare low-stock advice for stock replenishment
  • Prepare Monthly stock returns for receipts and issues
  • Reconcile store returns with stores and nominal ledgers on a monthly basis
  • Receive and pay cash and cheques.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Officer

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing procurement plan and keeping updates
  • Preparing; specifications of items for purchases, tender documents evaluation reports.
  • Analyzing price and other proposals best offers for goods and services and of suppliers to assist in negotiation.
  • Preparing recommendations for the award of contracts, order issuing, handling receipts of goods, and managing contracts.
  • Assist in clearing and evacuation of Agro-chemicals, jute bags, and other farm inputs while maintaining and updating the database
  • Expediting: purchase request and approval, payment bills of suppliers, and other procurement correspondences.

Job Title: Cook

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Look through each patients’ diet plan, and determine what ingredients will be required
  • Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, marinating, and cubing meats, vegetables and fruits
  • Make soups and stocks, according to specified recipes, making sure that the right amount of seasoning is used
  • Assist the hospital management in creating recipes, along with the help from doctors and other healthcare professionals
  • Cook nutritious meals, according to standardized protocols, ensuring that cleanliness is given the highest priority
  • Perform portioning activities on trays or plates, by following set instructions, on per-patient basis
  • Ensure that patients’ meals are delivered to them promptly so that they can take their medicines on time
  • Oversee the cleanliness and sanitization of kitchen areas such as counters, floors, and walls
  • Perform predictive and regular maintenance on kitchen appliances such as stoves, ovens, grills, fridges and freezers
  • Timely perform food rotation activities so that food spoilage is kept in check
  • Perform any other activities that may be assigned from time to time.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Pump water from the ground floor to roof to storage tanks
  • Install newly acquired plumbing fixtures
  • Perform any other activities that may be assigned from time to time

Skills

  • Ability to install plumbing fixtures
  • Ability to maintain and repair plumbing fixtures.

Qualification 

  • NVTI Grade 1 certificate in plumbing
