UPSA Hostel Application Procedures 2022/2023

The University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA) hostel application for the 2022/2023 academic year has commenced.

Notice is hereby given that all students (levels 100, 200, 300 & 400) interested in residing at the University’s Hostels for the 1^st & 2^nd Semesters of the 2022/2023 academic year are to take note of the following:

1. All students must pay their semester fees and register their courses before they can get access to book.
2. Bookings and payments for the Hostels are for A SEMESTER STAY.
3. Hostels A and B will be opened for all levels for booking from Tuesday, 20^th December 2022 at 10am each day.
4. Hostel C will be opened for levels 300 & 400 ONLY for booking from Tuesday, 20^th December 2022 at 10am each day.
5. Registration and Check-in at the Hostels will be as follows
   1. Level 100s – Sunday 8^th January, 2023 –Hostels A & B
   2. Level 200s – Sunday 15^th January, 2023 –Hostels A & B
   3. Level 300s & 400s – Sunday 5^th February, 2023 – Hostels A, B & C

6. Deadline for Registration at the Hostels will be as follows
   1. Level 100s – Friday 13^th January, 2023
   2. Level 200s – Friday 20^th January, 2023
   3. Level 300s & 400s – Monday 13^th February, 2023

N/B: PLEASE DO NOT BOOK IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN

RESIDING AT THE HOSTELS. You will be billed automatically when you book and you will be required to pay the amount.

1.  PROCESSES FOR REGISTRATION, VERIFICATION, LOGIN & PAYMENT

REGISTRATION

1. All students are required to register on the Hostel Management System
2. Students are to ensure they are registered on the USIS platform before attempting to

• Open the Hostel Portal from https://upsahostels.com
• Click on ‘Hostel Registration’ to open the registration
• Enter your UPSA Student ID, email and phone number
• Click on Register to process the

VERIFICATION OF DETAILS

This ensures students’ details are correct and accessible to the student.

BOOKING PROCESS

1. Log-in to your portal, following the log-in
2. Select the Hostel of your choice (Note that the Hostels display the rooms available and their respective )
3. Select the room, followed by the bed of your choice.
4. Read and accept the rules and regulations of the Hostels. Feel free to cancel your booking if you do not agree or accept the rules and regulations. 3.  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

2. Read the Rules and Regulations governing the Hostels on the University’s website (upsa.edu.gh) before applying.
3. Secure a bed (successfully book) before making any Hostel fee
4. Hostel fee payment procedure is the same as academic facility user fee payment (you pay into the University Access Bank account, the money will be transferred into your wallet, then you disburse according to other Hostel fee items on the portal).
