University of Ghana Medical Examinations 2021/2022
The University of Ghana (UG) Legon medication examination schedule for the 2021/2022 academic year has been released.
The management of the University of Ghana (UG) wishes to inform all freshmen that the mandatory Medical Examination is being carried out in order of hall of residence/campus from Monday, April 4 to Tuesday, May 31, 2022.
The particulars are as follows:
1. Fresh Students are required to report with any valid national ID for the exercise between 8:00am – 11:30am on weekdays (Mondays – Fridays) at the Students Clinic (in the Basement of Central Cafeteria). Prior to arrival, they are to ensure that they have registered online on the Student Medical Examination Platform in the STS Portal.
(Please note that for City Campus Students, the exercise will be held at the City Campus Clinic)
2. Chest X-ray will be provided at the Main University Hospital (Weekdays between 8:00am – 5:00pm, and 8:00am to 2:00pm on Saturdays.)
3. The OPG X-ray (Dental) will be taken at the Reveal Diagnostic Centre – Legon Mall (adjacent to the Legon Police Station.) (Weekdays between 8:00am – 6:00pm. and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Saturdays.
4. Physical examinations will extend from 8:00am until 4:30pm on the weekdays at the Main University Hospital.

All Freshmen should participate in this compulsory medical examination exercise as it is part of admissions process. Students who fail to do so within the stipulated period will be required to pay a penalty.
