The management of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) has released the Congregation Ceremonies Date Schedule for the 2024/2025 academic year. All graduating students should see the UENR congregation ceremony schedule below.
UENR Congregation Ceremony Date and Schedule
It is hereby announced for the information of 2025 graduands of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR), parents and guardians as well as the general public that the 10th Congregation of the University for the award of degrees to deserving students, who completed their programmes of study in December, 2025, will be held on Saturday, 13th December, 2025 at the Bank of Ghana Auditorium, UENR.
Graduating students should check the UENR graduation list and report any corrections to the Academic and Students Affairs division.
Please note that the graduation ceremony will be held in two sessions as follows:
Time: 8:30am (Morning Session)
- School of Agriculture and Technology
- School of Engineering
- School of Energy
- School of Geosciences
- School of Natural Resources
Time: 1:00pm (Afternoon Session)
- School of Graduate Studies
- School of Arts and Social Sciences
- School of Sciences
Release of Provisional Results and Graduands List
The provisional results will be released on 31st October 2025 to enable students who have satisfied the requirements for graduation to know their standing. The list of Graduands will be released on 3rd November, 2025 to finally confirm the status of the graduands.
Payment of Congregation Fees and Registration
Graduands who wish to be presented are required to pay a non-refundable fee of GHS 550.00 for Undergraduate and GHS 700.00 for Graduate Students into the UENR Graduation Fee account at any GCB Bank through EAGLE PAY; Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:
- Full Name
- Programme of Study
- Index Number (Exams Number)
- Student Number/Reference Number
- Phone Number
The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Graduation Medal, Certificate Holder and Administrative Costs.
Please note that graduands who opt out of the ceremony will be expected to pay the Graduation Fees before their certificates would be issued to them.

OTHER ARRANGEMENTS
- In-person graduation rehearsal will be held for all graduands at 3:00pm on Friday, 12th December, 2025 at the Bank of Ghana Auditorium at Sunyani Campus of the University.
GRADUATION REHEARSALS
Graduands will be required to attend compulsory rehearsals and also collect Academic Gowns thereafter.
REHEARSALS SCHEDULE

NB: Only registered graduands who attend the rehearsals will be presented on the day of Congregation.
All graduands are to note that those who are unable to attend the Congregation shall be required to pay the same amount before they can get their certificate.
Each graduand is permitted to bring only two (2) guests to the graduation venue.
All graduands are expected to make their own arrangements for accommodation and meals. However, stands/canopies would be mounted on campus to host guests.
Clearance Procedure
All graduands are expected to download the Students Clearance Form using this link https://uenr.edu.gh/download/students-clearance-form/ and print the same.
Alternatively, graduands may pick a copy of the Students Clearance Form at the University Library at Sunyani Campus at a fee. The Students Clearance Form should be endorsed by Finance Directorate, Head of Department, University Librarian, Hall/Hostel Manager, Sports Coach, Estate Officer, Dean of Students and the Academic and Students’ Affairs Division for Registrar.
Alumni Registration
There will be a UENR Alumni Association registration for all graduands. Every graduand is expected to fill/complete and submit the google form using the link below to complete the registration https://forms.gle/errRfVA7LCQbajar7
Graduands who for some reasons are unable to complete/fill the google form should download the attached form, fill/complete and email or whatsapp to iaaro@uenr.edu.gh or +233 243 645 955 respectively. The Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relation Office (IAARO) is located at Sawmill Building, Sunyani Campus. The Office should be contacted through email (iaaro@uenr.edu.gh), whatsapp or call (+233 243 645 955) on all Alumni related matters. 8. Collection and Return of Academic Regalia as well as Penalty for Late Return.
Collection of Academic Regalia
The academic regalia which comprises a gown, mortarboard (cap), and hood as well as a medallion can be collected at the SCIENCE BLOCK, SUNYANI CAMPUS as follows:

- 4th – 5th December, 2025 (Thursday – Friday)
- 8th – 12th December (Monday – Friday)
Time: 9:00am – 4:00pm (Break – 12:30pm – 1:30pm)
Graduands are requested to present their Graduation Fee Payment Receipt for the collection of the academic regalia.
Return of Academic Regalia
The academic regalia, that is, gown, mortarboard (cap), and hood should be returned immediately after the ceremony and up to 6:00pm OR not later than Friday, 19th December, 2025. Graduands are expected to sign to indicate return of the academic regalia.
Penalty for Late Return of Academic Regalia
Graduates who return the academic regalia, that is, gown, mortarboard (cap), and hood after the 19th December, 2025 deadline shall pay a Two Hundred Ghana Cedis (GHC200.00) penalty per day. Any damage caused to the academic regalia, that is, gown, mortarboard (cap), and hood shall attract a penalty of Two Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC2,000.00) for replacement.
Collection of Certificates
Certificates shall be ready for collection from Monday 15th December 2025 to Friday, 19th December 2025; and from 12th January 2026 onwards. Graduates of the Schools at the Sunyani Campus shall collect their certificates from their
respective Schools. Graduates of the Schools at the Dormaa Ahenkro Campus shall collect their certificates at the Academic and Students’ Af airs Division, Sunyani Campus, (1st Floor of Old Library Building opposite the Old Auditorium).
Graduates will be expected to present their signed Clearance Forms, Graduation Fee Receipt and Student Identity Card or in exceptional cases any form of National Identity card for collection of their certificates. We have attached the under-listed for your necessary action:
i. a write-up on the proper way of wearing the academic regalia, that is, gown, mortarboard (cap), and hood;
ii. two songs which would be sung during the ceremony namely
the University Anthem and Gaudeamus igitur for your rehearsal;
iii. Students Clearance Form; and
iv. Alumni Registration Form
