1. Dial the MTN Mobile Money shortcode: *170#
2. Select Option 1 – Transfer Money
3. To Choose networks, select option 5
4. Select the option with the Network you want to transfer to
5. Enter the recipient’s phone number,
6. Confirm the phone number on the next screen
7. Enter the Amount you wish to send
8. Enter transaction Reference
9. To confirm your transaction, enter your Mobile Money PIN.

How to Send Money from Vodafone Cash to MTN Mobile Money and Tigo Cash

If you want to send money from Vodafone Cash to MTN Mobile Money or AirtelTigo Cash, please follow the procedures below.

1. Dial the Vodafone Cash shortcode – *110#
2. Choose Send Money
3. Select Other Networks
4. Select the Recipient’s Network – (MTN or AirtelTigo)
5. Enter the recipient’s phone number
6. Enter the amount to be sent
7. Confirm transaction details and enter your Vodafone Cash pin

How to Send Money from Airtel or Tigo Cash to MTN Mobile Money or Vodafone Cash

If you want to send money from AirtelTigo Cash to MTN Mobile Money or Vodafone Cash, please follow the procedures below.

1. Dial the Shortcode – *500# for Airtel Subscribers or *110# for Tigo Subscribers
2. Choose Send Money
3. Select Other Networks
4. Select the Recipient’s Network – (MTN or Vodafone)
5. Enter the recipient’s phone number in full
6. Enter the amount you wish to send
7. Confirm transaction details and enter your Pin to complete the transaction

Importantly, note that there are some fees applicable when transferring money from one network to another. Charges for transfer of cash between networks are higher than when transferring on the same network.
