Below is the general requirements for opening any type of account with the National Investment Bank.

NIB Savings Account
The NIB Savings Account is suitable for individuals who are eighteen (18) years and above, societies and organizations who want to save part of their earnings to meet future needs i.e. to purchase fixed assets, to pay school fees etc.
NIB Savings Account Opening Requirements
To open a savings account, you must present the following documents at any branch of National Investment Bank.
- One passport-sized photograph.
- Valid photo identity (Passport /Driver’s License / Voter ID).
- Proof of residential and postal address (any of the following):
- Utility bill
- Tenancy agreement
- Employer’s reference letter
- Initial minimum balance to be maintained at all times.

NIB Trust Account
The NIB Trust Account is a special type of Savings Account managed by an adult for and on behalf of another person.
NIB Trust Account Opening Requirements
To open a Trust savings account, you must present the following documents at any branch of National Investment bank.
- Two passport-sized photograph (one for the account holder and one for the guardian).
- Valid photo identity (Passport /Driver’s License / Voter ID).
- Proof of residential and postal address (any of the following):

- Tenancy agreement
- Employer’s reference letter
- Initial minimum balance to be maintained at all times.

How to Open An Account With National Investment Bank Ghana
