NTC Postpones September 2020 Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination

The Management of the National Teaching Council (NTC) has proactively postponed the conduct of the 2020 September Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) to Thursday, October 1 and Friday, October 2, 2020.

The postponement of the September GTLE to October is amid the extension of revision period for students in Colleges of Education to prepare for their end of semester examination.

According to the management of the National Teaching Council (NTC), some centres chosen by candidates during the registration period have been changed. However, details of the new centres shall be sent to candidates via SMS or candidates may check their centres on its website www.ntc.gov.gh.

Also, the deadline for the GTLE registration has been extended to Friday 11 September 2020.

As part of measures to slow and curb the spread of the locally transmitted coronavirus, candidates are requested to wear a face mask before, during and after each paper and also adhere to the safety COVID-19 protocols including washing of hands and maintaining social distancing.
