The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). The Institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice to the student. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council.

NOTE:

1. Fees must be paid in full at the beginning of the semester

2. Students are required to pay the relevant Fees as specified under A+B1+B2 and Residential Fees
into KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following Banks:

REPUBLIC BANK STANDARD CHARTERED BANK
UBA BANK STANBIC BANK GHANA
CAL BANK GHANA POST

3. Residential Fees and Academic Fees should be paid separately into the same accounts using different pay-in-slips for each fee item (i.e. Residential Fees, Academic Fees)

4. All freshmen are to have their Chest X-ray, and medical examination at KNUST Hospital

5. International Students are required to pay the relevant Fees as specified into KNUST MAIN FEES COLLECTION ACCOUNT at any of the following Banks:

ECOBANK

UBA BANK

6. Physical Development Levy** is for the setting up of solar street lights and maintenance of walkways on campus.

    • The difference between regular and fee paying is that fees are subsidized for regular students while fees are not subsidized for fee-paying students. So, in that case, fee-paying students have to bear the full burden of paying their school fees.

  1. please I’m Amoako Francis,during the 2018/19,I was admitted as an applicant from less endow school but my resources was unable to pushed me through and it is now that the preparation is somehow adequate to push me through, so now should I go and 2019/2020 admission forms before I will be admitted or the 2018/2019 own can help me to get admission 2019/2020.please what should I do noe

  3. Please is there any percentage of school fees we can pay in order to register our courses, I have paid 70% and yet still I have not been able to register my courses.
