Ghana Institute of Journalism Fees

The management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism has released the current school fees for the academic session. The fees schedule is the amount payable per semester by registered students of the University.

The following policies and procedures are applicable to all students who officially register for programmes at the Ghana Institute of Journalism. The Institute reserves the right to change fees without prior notice to the student. However, fee changes are subject to approval by the Governing Council.

Continuing Students are required to pay GHC90.00 for S.R.C. Dues.FRESHMEN are required to pay GHC90.00 for S.R.C. Dues.

However, continuing students may choose to pay additional GHC40.00 for Souvenirs.

IMPORTANTLY: Continuing students can pay 60% of their fees before the first semester registration.

In this light, students are to take note of the fees and make preparations ahead of time to prevent any inconvenience during the examination period.

  1. Am George from Kumasi,nd pls I passed three of my core subjects nd also passed all the remaining electives wid the exception of English language scoring E8.pls can I be admitted to study at GIJ without writing any NOVDEC pls

  3. I read a two year diploma in journalism and media studies (NABPTEX) and I have the 4 semesters transcript but the certificate is not ready, can I apply for admission and submit the certificate when it’s ready?
