NSS Posting 2024/2025: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Posting Portal (portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting) has been enabled for prospective service personnel to check their 2024/2025 NSS Posting.
portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting posting: The National Service Scheme (NSS) wishes to inform the general public especially applicants that applied for National Service 2024/2025, that they can now check the National Service Posting Online following the below procedures.
Prospective Service Personnel the used the old NSS Posting Portal (nssghonline.com or posting.nssghana.org) to check their Posting Status are advised to use the new NSS Posting Portal below to check their posting status.
The Management of the National Service Scheme (NSS) has today, Friday, December 29, 2024, released the first batch postings of a total of ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY TWO THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE (122,275) prospective national service personnel who enrolled to undertake their mandatory national service for the 2023/2024 service year.
The second batch of postings will be released in due course.
HOW TO CHECK YOUR NSS POSTING STATUS – portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting
To Check your National Service NSS Posting Status – Place of Placement, follow the leads below to access the list;
- Go to the National Service NSS Posting Portal via https://portal.nss.gov.gh/check-posting
- Enter your NSS Number (e.g. NSSGCC100105) in the required box
- Finally, Click on the Search button and wait for the pop-up window to open with your Posting Information.
- All newly posted Candidates should follow this step (Steps to Take After NSS Posting).
Printing of appointment letters by service personnel and endorsements by respective user agencies can only be done from Monday, October 16, 2023.
However, validation and registration at all regional centers across the country would begin on Monday, October 23, 2023, and continue till FRIDAY, December 29, 2023, to accommodate prospective service personnel who are yet to complete their academic programmes.
To minimize excessive crowding at the validation centres, all national service personnel must schedule appointments online and visit the validation centres on the scheduled date and time for validation with strict adherence to the COVID-19 protocol guidelines.
The Management further directs all prospective service personnel who have been duly posted, accepted by their user agencies, and validated by the NSS, to begin their national service on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.
All national service personnel who have been deployed are hereby entreated to accept their postings as part of their civic obligations and contributions to national development.

Note: If you get the message ‘Your NSS Number may be in-correct or you have not been posted yet. Please kindly check it and try again’ when checking your NSS Posting, don’t panic, just check it back again another time because your posting will be updated soon.
How to Retrieve NSS Password
They’ve been a lot of complaint about a forgotten or lost password. The NSS has simplified the password recovery process. Follow the steps below to recover your password and print your appointment letter.
- Visit https://portal.nss.gov.gh/forgot-password
- Enter your registered email/username
- Click on send me “Reset Link”
- Go to your email to reset your password and set a new password.
- Thereafter, visit the NSS portal to check your posting and also print your appointment letter.
