Contents

Job Title: Facilities Manager

Key Responsibilities:   
Manage, supervise and coordinate all camp/villa activities including maintenance, general upkeep, and budgetary requirements.
Assist in setting up facilities as needed for the company; oversee and coordinate the ordering and delivery of all required materials for setting up the camp.
Perform required preventive maintenance for the facilities and ensure appropriate actions are taken for all identified problem areas.
Responsible for identifying and liaising with all external vendors required for the security and maintenance of the facilities.
Recruit staff to fill general maintenance functions and other junior-level positions.
Work closely with the Project Manager and HSE Manager to ensure the overall safety of staff; ensure compliance with required safety, health and environmental regulations.

Knowledge and Experience

Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a Camp/Facilities Manager.
In-depth knowledge of Camp Management including logistics and scheduling, procurement, camp standard compliance, and safety.
Experience managing contractors and vendors.
Basic knowledge of preventive maintenance. General Maintenance Experience (HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical) is an advantage.

Job Title: Logistics Manager

Key Responsibilities      
Liaise and collaborate with regional Procurement Officers and relevant Managers in order to ensure that logistic requirements are met; including regional acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources.
Develop and maintain positive business relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors to take advantage of sales opportunities and minimize overall costs.
Monitor and coordinate supply chain operations to include inventory control, consolidate price listings across all project sites, and distribution timelines.
Manage the movement of goods (both into Africa and between countries) in order to maximize value and minimize costs.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Logistics Department.

Knowledge and Experience
Degree/Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Proven ability to coordinate logistical activities across multiple projects sites; coordinating logistical movements between multiple countries.
Professional proficiency in English; both written and verbal. A business-level French is an advantage.
Previous experience working in West or Central Africa preferred.

Job Title: Electrician

Key Responsibilities 
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct problems.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and make adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
Installation and termination of both low voltage distribution cables as well as standard medium/high voltage cables.
Installations of MV/LV and HV/MV transformers and substations.

Knowledge and Experience
Minimum of 5 years working experience as an Electrician.
A degree/HND in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Must have a Registered Electrician License.
Knowledge of British (17th Edition) and US Electrical standards as City & Guilds 2382.
