Ghana Institute of Journalism Online Registration Procedures

The Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) online registration procedures for fresh and returning students has been released.

The management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has published the online registration process. As such, all students of the institution are required to register online every semester.

GIJ Online Registration Procedures

Please follow the procedure below:

STEP 1

Visit this website: registration.gij.edu.gh

Note: The page consists of two textboxes for

  • Username and
  • Password

STEP 2

Enter your username which is made up of your Student ID Number and enter your password

Example: A student with an ID NO. BACS17008 will have a Username BACS17008 and a default password

STEP 3

Select STUDENT on the menu bar.

Click on MY INFORMATION

STEP 4

Click on OTHER INFORMATION tab and confirm your courses registration for the semester. Also, you are expected to select your class groups based on the semester timetable.

NOTE:

Students who do not meet the Payment Requirement for the semester will be denied access to register and view their results. You can also print out your registration confirmation.

Students who are unable to login in to register should please report to Academic Affairs Registry or the IT Unit within the registration period.

Changing Password

Each Student is encouraged to change their password periodically to ensure their login account is secure. The system requires strong password that consist of a combination of letters, numbers and symbols. The minimum length of a password is six characters.

To change password when logged-in

  • Click on your username on the top right corner of the screen.
  • On the Manage Account page enter
  • Old password
  • New password and
  • Confirm new password
  • Click on the Change Password button.
