We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Nursing

Responsibility: The direction, organization, and strategic planning of the entire nursing unit.

Duties:

• Evaluate nursing staff performance and ensure that nursing care meets regulatory standards
• Set standards and plans for the nursing team
• Review and approve nursing policies and procedures
• Train nursing staff and coordination of educational programs for patients and their families
• Collaborate with nursing staff, management, and external agencies in the coordination of patient care
• Facilitate meetings with medical staff from other departments
• Ensure that nursing care medical services are meeting patient needs
• Implement quality assurance systems
• Preparation of regular and annual reports to the Medical Director
• Develop new patient care programs under the supervision of the Medical Director

Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/Midwifery with at least 10 years experience as a practitioner
• The last 3 years must have been in a management position
• Qualification in health services management or clinical leadership would be an advantage
• Valid PIN
• Must possess outstanding critical thinking and organizational skills as well as in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies
• Must be a good team player with good interpersonal and conflict management skills
