University of Ghana Virtual Matriculation Schedule 2024

The University of Ghana (UG) Legon matriculation Schedule (date, time and venue), online registration, and gown collection for newly admitted students for the 2023/2024 academic year has been released.

Management of the University of Ghana has resolved to hold a virtual matriculation ceremony for students admitted in the 2023/2024 academic year.

This year’s matriculation ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, February 17, 2023, and will be decentralized and organized at the College level.

Ahead of the ceremony, newly admitted students have been asked to sign the Matriculation Register.

University of Ghana Matriculation Schedule

The University Community and particularly newly admitted students (with the exception of Distance Education Students) are hereby informed that the Matriculation Ceremony for the 2023/2024 academic year will be held virtually at 9.30 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024. Matriculation will be organised at the College level.  

Per the Statutes of the University of Ghana:

  1. A student admitted to the University shall take the Matriculation Oath and sign the Matriculation Register.
  2. A student who fails to sign the Matriculation Register may be prevented from graduating by the University.

Prior to the scheduled matriculation ceremony date, each newly admitted student is required to log into the Students/Staff Services Portal below to sign the Matriculation Register:
