The University of Education Winneba (UEW) institute for distance and e-learning has been upgraded to college status.

The University community is hereby notified that the Governing Council of the Unversity, at its meeting held on 31st May 2021, approved the Academic Board’s proposal to upgrade the Institute for Distance and e-Learning, (IDeL) to a college status. Thus, effective 31st May 2021, IDeL assumed a college status with the name College for Distance and e-Learning (CODeL).
However, until otherwise indicated, correspondence, documents, and records in the name of the Institute remain valid.
The University community is to take note of the change and act accordingly.
