UDS Congregation Fees Payment Procedure | The University for Development Studies (UDS) congregation fees and payment guidelines for 2023 graduands have been released.

UDS Congregation Fees Payment

The University for Development Studies (UDS) will hold its April Congregation for all postgraduate graduands and some undergraduate graduands from the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Faculty of Sustainable Development Studies on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Venue:     Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus.
Time:        9:00 a.m. 

Rehearsals

A Rehearsal session will be done on Friday April 28, 202 at the Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus at 3:00pm. It is obligatory for all Graduands to attend.

Payment of Congregation Fees

All Graduands (Undergraduates and Graduates) will be required to pay an amount of Three Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS350.00) as Graduation fees.  All graduation fees should be paid at any branch of Stanbic Bank, Zenith Bank, GCB, NIB, ADB, Prudential Bank and Ecobank before, or on April 28, 2023.

The fee should be paid using the UDS Graduation Fee Payment Platform at any of the following banks: Stanbic Bank, GCB Bank, National Investment Bank (NIB), Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Zenith Bank, Prudential Bank and Ecobank.

Graduands attending the ceremony will be expected to make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals.

NB: Graduands are expected to make full payment of all fees owed the University before their Certificates will be released.

Dress Code

The dress code is strictly formal attire and the academic gown. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.

Collection of Gowns

All Graduands will collect academic gowns at the Stores at the Central Administration on Friday April 28, 2023. Graduands will be required to show evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before the gowns are issued. The gowns should be returned to the stores immediately after the Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so after a week will attract a penalty of Fifteen Ghana cedis (GHC15) a day.

Collection of Certificates

  • An original copy of the pay-in-slip should be submitted at the point of collection of certificates on the campus after the ceremony. Graduands are advised not to post the original copy to the Registrar.
  • Fully signed original clearance form
  • Submission of gown clearance form
