The University for Development Studies (UDS) congregation ceremony schedule (date, time and venue) for undergraduate and postgraduate students for November 2019 has been released for the award of BSc, PGD, MSc, MPhil, MA, MCom and PhD.
The management of the University for Development Studies (UDS) 20th congregation ceremony schedule, registration and rehearsal dates for 2019 has been announced.
UDS Congregation Ceremony Schedule
University for Development Studies (UDS) will hold its 20th Congregation on the Tamale Campus on the following dates:
Tamale Campus: Friday, November 8, 2019, for all Graduands of Wa and Navrongo Campuses (Undergraduates only).
Tamale Campus: Saturday, November 9, 2019 for all Undergraduate Graduands of Nyankpala and Tamale Campuses, and all Postgraduate Diploma, Masters, PhD Graduands of all the four Campuses (Nyankpala, Tamale, Navrongo and WaCampuses)

Rehearsals will be done in the Auditorium, Tamale Campus, on the following date:
Thursday, November 7, 2019,at 4:00 pm for graduands of the Wa and Navrongo Campuses
Friday, November 8, 2019 at 4:00 pm for graduands of the Tamale and Nyankpala Campuses
No students will be allowed to participate in the Ceremony if he/she fails to participate in the Rehearsals on the date stated above
Payment of Congregation Fees
All Graduands (Undergraduates and Graduates) are required to pay an amount of Two Hundred and Ninety Ghana Cedis (GHS290.00) as Congregation fees.
MBChB graduands will pay an amount of Four Hundred and Seventy Ghana Cedis (GHS470.00) as Congregation fees.
All graduation fees should be paid into the Graduation Fees Account of the University for Development Studies at the National Investment Bank, before or on November 8, 2019. Payment can be made at any National Investment Bank branch in the Country.
A duplicate copy of the pay-in-slip should be submitted at the point of collection of certificates on the Campus after the ceremony. Graduands are advised not to post the duplicate copies, but rather bring them along.
All graduands are to note that those who fail to attend the ceremony will also pay the same amount before their Certificates are released to them.
Graduands attending the ceremony and their guests will be expected to make their own arrangement for transportation, accommodation and meals.
The dress code is strictly formal attire and the academic gown. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.
