UDS Congregation Fees Payment Procedure | The University for Development Studies (UDS) congregation fees and payment guidelines for 2023 graduands have been released.

UDS Congregation Fees Payment

The University for Development Studies (UDS) will hold its April Congregation for all postgraduate graduands and some undergraduate graduands from the School of Nursing and Midwifery and Faculty of Sustainable Development Studies on Saturday, November 18, 2023.

Venue:     Multi-purpose Auditorium, Tamale Campus.
Time:        9:00 a.m. 

Rehearsals

There will be Rehearsals for all Graduands on Friday, November 17, 2023 at 3:00pm at the Multi-Purpose Auditorium. Attendance is compulsory for Graduands who will be participating in the Graduation Ceremony.

Payment of Congregation Fees

All Graduands (Undergraduates and Postgraduates) are required to pay an amount of Three Hundred and Fifty Ghana Cedis (GHS350.00) as Graduation fee.

However, MBChB graduands will pay an additional amount of One Hundred and Eighty Ghana Cedis (GHC180.00), bringing their Graduation fee to an amount of Five Hundred and Thirty Ghana Cedis (GHS530.00).

All Graduation fees should be paid at any branch of Ecobank, Prudential Bank, Zenith Bank, Stanbic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, National Investment Bank and Ghana Commercial Bank before or on November 17, 2023.

Graduands attending the ceremony will be expected to make their own arrangements for transportation, accommodation and meals.

NB: Graduands are expected to make full payment of all fees owed the University before their Certificates will be released.

Dress Code

The dress code is strictly formal attire and the academic gown. Graduands who do not adhere to this will not be permitted to participate in the Ceremony.

Collection of Gowns

All Graduands will collect academic gowns at the Stores at the Central Administration on Friday April 28, 2023. Graduands will be required to show evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before the gowns are issued. The gowns should be returned to the stores immediately after the Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so after a week will attract a penalty of Fifteen Ghana cedis (GHC15) a day.

Collection of Gowns

All Graduands will collect academic gowns at the Stores at the Central Administration from Wednesday, November 15 to Friday, November 17, 2023.

Graduands should provide evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before the gowns are issued. The gowns should be returned to the stores immediately after the Graduation Ceremony. Failure to do so after one week will attract a penalty of Four Ghana cedis (GHC4) a day.

Collection of Certificates

Graduands will collect their certificates at designated points after the Graduation Ceremony. Graduands should provide evidence of payment of the graduation fees and their students’ identity cards before their certificates will be issued.

NB: Graduands are expected to make full payment of all fees owed the University before their Certificates will be released.
