Company Secretary/Head of Legal Department

Job Description

• Provide efficient, effective legal support services and ensuring compliance by the financial institution with laws governing its operations.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A lawyer who has been called to the Ghana Bar with at least 10 years relevant working experience with at least three of which is in a Financial Institution.

Experience

• Be conversant in drafting various commercial agreements with various stakeholders.
• Must be experienced in loan recoveries both directly and working with external lawyers.
• Very broad knowledge in Ghana company laws
• Keep a well-organized Company Secretariat with minimal complaints from both directors & shareholders.

Conditions of Service:

• The successful candidate is a member of the Management Team and reports direct to the MD/CEO and the Board.
• Compensation: The salaries and other conditions of service are very attractive, competitive and negotiable.

 

Head, Marketing/Business Development Division

Job Description

The head of marketing oversees all marketing activities of the company ensuring the marketing team effectively fulfils the organisations marketing strategy

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.

Experience:

• At least 15 years of continuous & relevant postgraduation experience of which at least five (5) would have been in selling financial products and managing a sizeable profit center in an Institution where performance matters.
• Must have led a Marketing Team with at least five (5) Team Heads as subordinates

Responsibilities

• Building & maintaining profitable business relationships must be a way of life and have the ability to hold subordinates to the same performance standards
• A competent Team Builder & Leader.
• Must be a strategic thinker with big picture mindset

Conditions of service:

• Total compensation to this position is very competitive with generous performance incentive bonuses.
• The successful candidate reports directly to the MD/CEO and, depending on the experience, will be the next in command to the CEO.

Chief Inspector or Head Audit & Compliance

Job Description

Provide effective leadership, advice, and counsel to the Board of Trustees and senior management on matters of corporate compliance and ethical business practices

Qualification Required & Experience

• At least 10 years’ experience in a recognized Audit Firm or in a Financial Institution’s audit unit

Experience

• Must have been at least number two in rank in a Financial Institution audit group or led many financial institutions’ audits if in an audit firm.
• Must be very conversant with the Reporting requirements of the various Regulators
• Have the ability to work seamlessly with the external auditors
• Have the ability to deliver good and incontrovertible reports of events within a tight schedule
• A Team player that fits in well into the Company’s Executive Management

Conditions of Service: The successful candidate will be a member of the Management Team and reports to both the MD/CEO and the Board.

Compensation: Salaries and other benefits are very competitive but negotiable
