Responsibilities
Strategy
• Assist in the collation of relevant data and reports from the businesses and functions for the CEO’s review within advised deadlines. Ensure, together with CEO’s Business Planning Manager (BPM), that the CEO’s office and activities arising thereof are in compliance with ORF, RMF and FCRMP guidelines – Governance and Operational Risk guidelines with the Bank’s stated strategy
• Work with the CEO’s BPM to manage the business, performance, budget, risk and other strategy related matters
Business
• Co-ordinate activities in the CEO’s office
• Manage the CEO’s calendar by streamlining it with her plan for the year
• Following up on matters arising out of the Committee Meetings as required by the CEO
• Diarise and thoroughly follow up on agreed action plans
• Organise Programmes for Group Executives and other senior visitors during their stay in Ghana
• Achieve General Office tidiness and up to date filling system
• Maintain general confidential and policy files and documents
• Process Incoming and outgoing communication from the CEO’s office without delay
• Maintain file for authority level for Chief Executive and EXCO
• Receive visitors, place and screen telephone calls for Chief Executive
• Assist in the collation of relevant data and reports from the Businesses and Functions for the CEO’s review within advised deadlines
• Maintain record of all in-coming SCB staff and visitors from the SCB network – source data will be notices received from the Businesses hosting the guests
• Support the Management and organisation of the CEO’s events in collaboration with CABM
• Work with CEO’s BPM to obtain the necessary information for updates ahead of scheduled deadlines
• Undertake AD-HOC projects as assigned by the CEO
Processes
• Ensure adherence to the Group Code of Conduct and Policies & procedures
• Review T&E and eProc items requiring CEO’s approval for compliance with Group G&E and T&E Policies
People and Talent
• Support the CEO in delivery of staff engagement plan
• Set up periodic one-on-one meetings with mentees
• Diarise periodic floor walks and Branch engagements for CEO
Risk Management
• Maintain records and track business updates of all material complaints (service or legal) brought to the attention of the CEO’s office. Keep CEO informed of status updates to ensure closure
Governance
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost care and responsibility
• Manage the flow of callers and visitors to the CEO’s office, communicating and dealing with high profile local and foreign clients who call on the Chief Executive
• Ensure documents for all governance meetings are received and printed well ahead of the meetings
• Manage and capture CEO’s sign-off on the delegated Authority & Power of Attorney in Blueprint Oneworld system in consultation with the Company Secretary
• Support the CEO with regular and ad-hoc report preparation
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Valued Behaviours and Code of Conduct
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. • Arrange for reimbursement of all business expenses of the CEO
