We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Engineering Director
Responsibilities:
Overseeing all related technical elements, leading the Engineering, O&M and Project Management teams including:
- Developing a strategy
- Training and developing an eager to learn and hungry technical team
- Working closely with the BD teams ensuring technical synergy and working towards supporting customers and commercial goals
- Overseeing the development and implementation of technical projects
- Championing health, safety, and environmental standards
Skills/Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge in medium-large size Solar PV AND battery storage
- Proven track record of managing and developing a team of engineers
- Engineering Degree qualified or equivalent
- Experienced in managing and completing solar projects
- Design experience is an advantage
Please note you would be required to relocate to Africa and be willing to travel in-country. For the right candidate, this role will be available on a remote basis with frequent travel to Africa.
