Society for Family Health (SFH) is South Africa’s leading non-profit, non-governmental provider of health products, services, and communications and South Africa’s leading social marketing organization. Social marketing is the non-profit use of commercial marketing techniques to address public health issues. SFH was founded in 1992 as a condom social marketing organization and since that date has distributed over one billion condoms. Also since that time, SFH has greatly expanded the portfolio of products and services it provides to include male condoms, female condoms, lubricant, HIV counseling and testing, CD4 counts, TB diagnosis, and medical male circumcision.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Job-role: The successful candidates will perform the following functions:

  • Achieve individual sales targets.
  • Prepare monthly market intelligence.
  • Achieve monthly redistribution target.
  • Discover, activate, and report new sales outlets/customers every month.
  • Create new outlets and discover new service delivery points.
  • Maintain and update the database of providers.
  • Administrative and other job functions that may be assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • First degree in Biological Science or related fields of study and must have completed the mandatory National Service Scheme (NSS).
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience post-NSS in a pharmaceutical environment or sales related areas preferably
  • Show adaptability, willingness to learn new skills, and commitment to exceptional delivery
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Be innovative and creative
  • Able to drive a vehicle and must have a valid driving license
