The West African Examination Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is an examination that is administered by the West African Examination Council (WAEC). The examination is administered yearly. It is open to candidates from Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and The Gambia.

Requirements of Russian Universities

For undergraduate programs, most courses in Russian universities are taught in Russian. It is most likely that you’ll have to learn the language first and provide proof of proficiency in the said language.

Fortunately, some Russian universities offer one-year preparatory programs which allow non-citizens speakers to learn the Russian language, culture and lifestyle.

Also, applicants are expected to write entrance exams in Russia. This is like a determining factor for getting admission into a university or not. The Unified State Examination (EGE), like the SAT used in the United States, is a standardized test used for university admissions in the country.

As an international student, you’ll be required to have a high score in the Unified State Exam (EGE) for you to be eligible for consideration.

For postgraduate programs, most universities are starting to offer international programs taught in English. These programs will no longer require examination results and are suitable for international applicants.
