Rigworld International Services Limited is a model Upstream Oil and Gas Servicing Company registered and operating presently in Ghana.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title:  Logistics Manager


Contribute to setting strategic goals, budgets and policies to enhance profitability and return on investment.

Develop an integrated business plan that optimizes market share and profitability.

Conduct a strategic review of performance on a regular basis to ensure the achievement of goals.

Provide leadership consistent with company values and holding employees accountable for their performance.




Provide commercial support and participate in tender proceedings;

Negotiate pricing and service level agreements;

Ensure the effective management of stakeholders and processes relating to shipment to ensure compliance with Customs requirements.

Establish systems to expedite/reduce delays of shipments in transit and during customs clearance.

Design, implement, monitor and review the Logistics processes to ensure continuous improvement.




Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or equivalent qualifications. MBA is a plus

10+ years of experience in the shipping and freight management industry or related experience

Expertise in logistics management and understanding of customs regulations

Entrepreneurial at heart, with a keen interest in managing a scalable organization.

A highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency.

Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and drive process excellence

Ability to sustainably execute on projects across multiple functional teams

Excellent verbal and written communication as well as presentation skills

Job Title: Procurement Manager


Develop departmental business plans and implement risk mitigating controls to ensure the movement of materials and supplies are received, issued, stored and accounted for in a timely, safe and consistent manner, and in compliance with Company procedures and policies.

Liaise with Business Units for all Procurement, Warehousing and Logistics functions at Rigworld’ Group of companies.

Develop systems that can be measure appropriately in order to achieve the required objectives.

Ensure that information is communicated effectively and there is an integrated effort towards effective materials management.

Develop, recommend and implement programs to enhance working relationships and communication processes to ensure achievement of leading practice warehouse and materials management processes.

Make strategic decisions on future materials management processes, drive standards throughout the organization.

Make recommendations on processes improvement with broad use of external knowledge and practices.

Create and continuously optimize Site materials management warehouse operations workforce plans.

Implement processes, policies, systems, and practices that maximize operational effectiveness, supply continuity and lower Total Cost of Ownership for materials and supplies.

Manage a team of direct and indirect reports through ongoing performance measurement, talent management, succession planning, one to one coaching and feedback.

Build the capabilities of the team to enhance the department’s ability to achieve financial and operating strategies.

Provide oversight into the Customs Clearance processes for both imports and exports.

Ensure that individual training / development is conducted in accordance with succession planning commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain management and Logistics.

Membership of CIPS and CILT

Five (5+) years of supply chain management experience

Possession MBA will be an added advantage

Previous training and experience in Procurement, warehousing and logistics.

Job Title: Business Development Manager


Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the market

Promote, sell, and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.

Research sources for developing prospective customers to determine their potential.

Anticipate and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.

Analyze the market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customer value to the business.


Identify and develop new business and revenue streams from new and previously under-explored and under-developed initiatives and/or accounts.

Monitor market conditions, innovations and trends, and competitors’ performance, pricing and sales strategies to maximize competitive stance

Present reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Participate in industry and client organizations trade shows, etc. as a strategic part of client development


Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or in a related field or equivalent professional qualification. Possession of MBA is an advantage

8+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years of Business Development experience

Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.

Proactive, confident self-starter and strong analytical thinker.

Ability to develop and deliver presentations.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with the ability to persuade and influence others.

Proficient in negotiating contracts with clients and partners
