We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Investment Officer
The Investment Officer will work with internal and external experts as required in the best interests of our partners and Oikocredit. He/she will act as a relationship manager, translating market developments and client needs into opportunities to create impact and do business. Although specialised in a specific sector, the Investment Officer is conversant with Oikocredit’s strategy, sectors and its products & services.

Responsibilities
- Building maintaining and monitoring a portfolio of investments in Ghana.
- Focusing on commercial activities and working closely together with specialists at regional level
- Responsibility for the country´s portfolio performance and quality check of new proposals
- Identifying the needs and opportunities that would benefit from the financial resources made available by Oikocredit
- Responsibility for maintaining the local networks; representing Oikocredit at conferences and events
- Conducting due diligence and preparing credit proposals, supporting the closing of deals and disbursements, monitoring and supporting capacity building projects.
- (Monitor and) implement compliance guidelines and standards for processes and investments within own area of expertise, based on Oikocredit procedures and regulations

Requirements
- Master´s degree in the field of finance or business administration
- Four to six years’ experience in banking, market analysis and economic development
- In-depth knowledge of inclusive finance, agriculture finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Familiarity with financial analysis using advanced financial modelling.
- Solid understanding of and ability to evaluate company financial statements.
- Good business acumen and strong interpersonal skills.
- Extensive user skills of Microsoft Excel and computer literacy in general
- Excellent written and verbal command of English
Desirable:
- Experience in impact financing and more particularly in agri business
- Field experience in Ghana
