The Bank was issued with a license to commence Banking Operations on September 7, 1982, under the Banking Act 1970 (Act 339). The bank started actual operations to the public on September 16, 1983.

Odotobri Rural Bank PLC located at Jacobu in the Amansie Central District of Ashanti Region seeks to employ a Credit Manager. Persons who meet the following criteria are invited to apply for the position: Credit Manager

Job Description

• The person shall prepare credit strategy of the bank
• The person shall make recommendations for a review of lending policy
• The person shall prepare and deliver presentations and reports regarding key credit issues, exposures and the periodic credit review report to the CEO
• Prepare monthly credit report, submit all loans report to Credit References Bureaus and register all securities in the collaterial registry
• Carry out regular credit facility reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions of the credit
• Monitor all loans and report on early warning signs to the Chief Executive Officer
• Serve as a Secretary to the management credit committee
• Maintain minimum loan recovery rate of 98% on monthly basis
• Achieve monthly recovery rate of 5% in respect of overdue loans

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree in a related field and or acceptable professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, project management etc, Masters Degree in a related field is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position in the rural banking industry

• Good planning, quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Good understanding of IFRS9 credit impairment models

Reporting Line:

• The person shall report to the Chief Executive Officer
