KNUST Special Congregation Ceremony Schedule 2024

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Special Virtual Congregation Date, Schedule & Registration Procedures for 2024 has been released.

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi announces for the information of Graduands and the General Public that its 57th Special Congregation Ceremonies will be held from Thursday, 21st  – Saturday, 23rd March, 2024.

GRADUANDS who completed their Programmes of Study after the last Congregation (November, 2023) should pay the graduation fee of GhȻ 400.00 at any of the following banks: Ecobank, GCB Bank, UBA, Stanbic Bank, Cal Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Republic Bank, Absa Bank, Fidelity Bank, GT Bank and CBG.

The graduation fee covers Congregation Publications, Certificate Holder, University Souvenirs, Graduation Photographs and Administrative Costs.

Graduands are required to provide the following information at the Bank:

• Name
• Programme of Study
• Examination Index Number
• Student ID Number
• Contact Address
• Telephone Number
• Email Address

Collection of Gowns

After payment of the Graduation Fees, graduands are to present their receipts to collect their Academic Gown and Graduation Souvenirs at the following designated points from Tuesday, 19th March, 2024.

• All Masters Programmes – Republic Hall and
• All Undergraduate Programmes – Independence Hall
• All PhD Programmes – Great Hall Foyer

Academic Gown and Souvenirs may be collected earlier at the Estate Organisation from Monday, 11th March, 2024

Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Graduands attending the Congregation would be held at the Great Hall, KNUST as follows:

Graduands are expected to be seated THIRTY (30) MINUTES before the commencement of each Programme in the Academic Gown appropriate to their Programme of Study/College and worn preferably over a suit/jacket with a University Tie/Scarf, or other suitable but decent attire.
