Job Description

Job Title: Supply Chain Executive

Main Objective of the Job:

Achieve inbound supply management and make operations of the company that are cost efficient and operationally effective and efficient, and in line with demand.

Key Responsibilities of the Job:

The strategic direction of the Supply Chain Function within the overall strategy of the company
Developing and implementing the supply plans for the company
Ensuring effective stock management based on company forecasts
Providing supply management information required for management decisions
Securing sustainable levels of cost of operations that drive competitiveness and strong profitable growth.
Health, Safety, Environmental Management
Responsible for ensuring Corporate Governance standards are adhered to in the company

Operational Responsibilities

Reports to the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Executive Team
Responsible for Inbound Planning, Buying, Sourcing, Supply Contracts, Landing/Clearing, Transporting and Stock Management
Ensure the appropriate Supply Chain systems are in place to support the company’s operations
Prepare and co-ordinate the annual budgets for supply chain
General supervision of all Supply Chain staff

Qualification, Skills, and Competencies required for the Job:

· A relevant degree in Supply Chain Management or related field

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Supply Chain and a minimum of 1 years in senior management

· Business Strategy development, Planning and implementation

· Knowledge of cold chain management and business processes and how to drive value creation

· Excellent people management and communications skills

· General and Performance Management experience and analytical skills

· Growth-oriented

· Team Player and Team Leader
