Job Details

GGBPLC intends to offer selected interns with a learning opportunity to gain practical working experience and enhance their skillset/potential for future leadership roles.

Capacity building to empower young people to gain experience and prepare themselves for the labor market.

Interns Selection

Prior to joining the program, all shortlisted applicants will be subjected to an aptitude test to determine your level of aptitude & attributes aligned to GGBPLC’s performance ambition.

Criteria

In order to qualify for internship, student will have to meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled in a tertiary institution – at the fourth and sixth semesters of HND and First-degree programs respectively with special measurable skills.
  • Students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 with a recommendation from the respective institution.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

 The Program

Interns shall be assigned to the relevant manager for supervision throughout the internship period, managers shall:

Ensure that interns have work to do and are afforded quality supervision

Ensure that the interns are aware of their obligations and responsibilities

Ensure that professional competencies of the intern are enhanced by allocating the intern relevant tasks.

On-Boarding

Prior to beginning an internship assignment, interns will receive appropriate corporate induction and shall be expected to adhere to all GGBPLC’s regulations, policies and procedures.

Evaluation

All interns shall be provided with ongoing feedback on how well they are meeting the goals and expectations of their roles/projects. All interns shall receive a performance evaluation report based on set objectives after completion of the internship.

Duration

Successful applicants are due to start Mid June and end in August.
