GIET Scholarships 2020/2021 for Ghanaian Students

The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat in collaboration with GIET Institutions, India is offering Full and Partial scholarships to qualified Ghanaian students to undertake undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree courses in relevant programmes effective 2020/2021 academic year.

Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET) Scholarships

Godavari Institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET) is an Autonomous Institution and Accredited by National Board for Accreditation, recognized as ‘A+’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) of India and approved by AICTE in India. The institute has also been vetted and approved by the National Accreditation Board in Ghana as a degree awarding institution in India.

GIET Scholarships Eligibility

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

a. Be Ghanaian citizens resident in Ghana.
b. Candidates for Undergraduate studies must:
i. Have completed their Senior High School education and hold the most recent WASSCE certificates with aggregate between six (6) and fifteen (15)
ii. Not be below 18 years and above 23 years of age
iii. Must have genuine Birth Certificate.

c. Candidates for Postgraduate studies must;
i. Hold a degree in relevant field of study
ii. Must not be more than thirty-five (35) years of age
iii. 2nd Class (Upper Division) or better
iv. 2 years post qualification experience
v. Completed national service

How to Apply for GIET Scholarships to Study in India

Interested and qualified candidates should:

Apply in writing to the Registrar of Scholarships indicating their subject of interest, contact details and attach copies of the following:
i. Academic certificates and transcripts
ii. A copy of birth certificate or Passport
