The Ghana Wildlife Society (GWS) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit making conservation organization headquartered in Accra. Our mission is to conserve wildlife in all its forms for improved quality of life for all people. We belong to BirdLife International, the world’s largest nature conservation partnership of 120 autonomous NGOs around the world.
Our work is firmly rooted in partnerships, and relies on science that inspires positive conservation actions in collaboration with communities, civil society groups, businesses, universities and government. Qualification Required & Experience
• will lead in the formulation, communication and coordination of GWS policy positions to decision makers.
• He/She will also champion all our advocacy activities to influence national and international policies in line with GWS’ strategic policy priorities towards biodiversity conservation.
Job Tiltile: Local Experts – Ecosystem Services Assessment
Job Location:Â Accra
Qualification Required & Experience
• will provide technical advice and lead I the collection and analysis of primary/secondary data to generate information on ecosystem services derived from two key biodiversity areas (Tano-Offin and Cape Three Points Forest Reserves) in Ghana using Toolkit for Ecosystem Service Site-based Assessment (TESSA).
