Ghana School on Internet Governance (GSIG) Leaders Program

The Ghana School on Internet Governance (GhanaSIG) is an annual 3 days event convened by the E-Governance and Internet Governance Foundation for Africa (EGIGFA). GhanaSIG is a recognized registered member of the Dynamic Coalition on Internet Governance Schools , a worldwide body sharing best practices on schools on Internet Governance.

Ghana School on Internet Governance (GSIG) Leaders Program Eligibility

Applications will be accepted from students and individuals working in the private sector, in governments or in civil society groups from Ghana. The basic requirements for applying as a Fellow is the ability to read, write and speak English, and an interest to know more about the Internet Governance ecosystem. The programme is a 3 days event, and after completion, the participants become Fellows of the Ghana School on Internet Governance

To be Taken at (Country): The tentative venue is Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE), Accra, Ghana.

Value of Award: Application and attendance for Fellows selected is free. Lunch will be provided for the 3 days. Sponsorship support for fellowship (full or partly for travel and accommodation cost) is possible for fellows from outside Accra. However, priority will be given to self-funding of travel costs and accommodation due to limited funds.

Duration of Award: 3 days (11th to 13th November 2020).
