What is the Portal?

A patient portal is a secure online website that gives patients convenient, 24-hour access to personal health information from anywhere with an Internet connection. Using a secure username and password, patients can view health information.

What can I view in the Portal?

CityMD Patient portal allows you to view, download, and print your test results.

How to create a new Portal account?

You will need to register your email with CityMD and become web-enabled to gain access to your patient portal. Contact our Aftercare Department at 855-624-8963, and please dial “1” from the menu options.

Can’t access your Portal account?

Please visit Patient Portal (athenahealth.com) to reset your password or call our Aftercare Department.

Can I communicate with CityMD through the Portal?

Currently you are unable to communicate with CityMD staff through our portal, for any additional questions please call our Aftercare Department.

Can I pay my bill through the Portal?

Currently we do not accept any payments through our patient portal but you can pay online at View and Pay Bill (citymd.com) or for any billing related questions call 516-453-5640 (Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm).

TEST RESULTS

How do I access my lab test results?

Lab results are delivered to your patient portal account. Log in or register online. Please wait at least seven to ten days after your visit to view your lab results online.

My lab results have not been posted and more than two weeks have passed. What should I do?

In most cases, lab test results delivery times should not exceed two weeks. The most common reason for delay in receiving results is inaccurate or out-of-date personal information on record.

How do I access the lab test results of other family members?

If you have been authorized to view the lab test results of other family members, you will need to register each team member individually for the portal linked to a unique email address.

How soon can I expect to receive my lab test results?

Your test results will be posted to your portal account within two to seven days from the date of your visit. Depending on the complexity of the tests, results may take several days to complete the test.

I’m a patient and I don’t understand or have questions about my test results. Who should I talk to?
