About the role

To work with the Ghana team with the support of relevant PIF colleagues to diversify and maximise the Ghana Programme’s income from Charitable Trusts and Foundations (and hence meet our corporate goal of substantially increasing our income). To research, compile and submit funding proposals and reports, manage fundraising initiatives and develop and monitor relationships with Trusts and Foundations. To develop and be the sole owner of relationships with specific trusts within an agreed portfolio to increase the potential for donations to Christian Aid and to develop donations to reach five and six figure amounts. About you

The successful candidate will have relevant degree qualification and must have strong knowledge of and interest in developing world issues. Must possess persuasive skills to make successful applications to Charitable Trusts and Foundations and should be able to build and maintain key relationships to secure grants. Must have advanced experience in writing detailed reports and proposals with good numeracy skills for budgeting and financial analysis. A track record of gaining funds from trusts and foundations will be an added advantage.

Fluency in verbal and written English.
