Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Operations Specialist
Role Summary:
Baker Hughes, a GE company has an exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Operations Specialist for OFE located in Ghana
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop and create proposals on time to meet customer needs
Develop partnership with sales team in meeting proposal needs
Oversees implementation of global contracting strategies.
Develops corporate contracting policies and guidelines, contract model forms and systems
Reviews, drafts and negotiates assigned contracts and/or commercial documents
Work across multiple functions ie Legal, tax, HSE, quality and finance representatives to identify various project-related risks or concerns
Identifies contracting trends and improvement opportunities
Handles special projects, as assigned
Leads, guides and advises senior management on commercial issues
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
5+ years experience as a Commercial Leader
Advanced knowledge of contracting statutes
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Displays leadership in implementation of initiatives
Communication link between Operations, Team Leads, Global Account Managers, Product Line Sales Managers and across the enterprise
Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location
