The underground mining operation will be fully mechanized, designed to produce up to an average maximum of 5,000 t/day of ore mined.

Role

The purpose of the role is a mandatory requirement to effectively manage explosives underground in accordance with the Mining regulations.

Key Accountabilities:

Ensure Workplace safety – Monitor explosive consumptions and prompt supervisors for its safe usage and also ensure records of all pertinent explosive transactions are properly recorded to prevent explosive theft
Improve productivity – Attends daily morning production meetings and ensure planned scheduled explosives consumption requirement are placed at the scheduled time
Explosive reporting – Periodically submit report on all activities of explosives ordered, receipt, transported, distribution, and stocks underground in accordance to the Mining regulations
Explosive Management – Communicate with team member for them to understand the implications of explosive wastages and its effects on the mine profitability margins.
