The successful candidate for this role will join our Network team as Head, Network Operations in the Technology Department. (S)He will report to the Director, Service Assurance and will control, manage and support the day to day network operations to ensure excellent and consistent customer experience, delivering operational excellence and +1 network experience in a cost efficient manner. The Head, Network Operations will ensure efficient operations of the MS partner with best practice delivery.

Job Title: Head, Network Operations
Key Responsibilities
- Management of all Network Operations & Maintenance Strategic Partners (SPs/MS) to deliver optimal availability and perpetual quality (Customer):
- Ensure end-to end operational management of the entire Active & Passive network elements such as Core/IN/VAS, Base station system and Transmission & power / tower systems;
- Draft, own and implement preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance & escalation procedures;
- Ensure periodic audit of all technology domains;
- Manage spares to ensure availability of both critical and non-critical spares;
- Manage Service Level Agreement (SLA) for network service providers/vendors;
- Ensure incidence management recommendations are followed up to ensure implementation;
- Support the Operational Interface for both internal and external stakeholders especially Commercial, Customer Service Delivery and IT teams;
- Ensure all regional requirements and deliverables of operations and maintenance are met within agreed timelines.
Operational policies and processes
- Create and Ensure adherence to governance model;
Define service level agreements for internal processes as well as partners and monitor achievement of defined objectives to ensure an effective and efficient interface to all touch points; - Ensure compliance to applicable policies and procedures across relevant touch points to ensure synergy across all Managed Service (MS) services;
- Institute service level agreement measurement methodology to ensure all MS are accurately measured, rewarded and penalized accordingly;
- Build a capable and motivated team to create a high performance team environment
- Develop and motivate team members through structured training and on the job coaching;
- Establish performance expectations and regularly review individual performance.
Required Qualification and Experience
- A University Degree in any field with emphasis on Electrical /Electronic /Telecoms Engineering or related disciplines. Possession of a Masters’ Degree in Engineering is a plus;
- Professional Certification in CCNA, will be an added advantage;
- A minimum of seven(7) to Ten (10) years of varied experience in operation and maintenance in the Telecom industry with a minimum of three (3) years managerial experience in network operations;
- Sound knowledge of Mobile Network O&M.
- Ability to manage an outsourcing partner to effectively deliver on service level agreements.

Job Title: Head, Enterprise Solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure customer solutions are cost-effective, optimal in delivery costs and schedule and meet quality specifications
- Develop technical documentation, functional specification and high-level designs of customer solutions including BOM, BOQ.
- Work with stakeholders to verify the availability, suitability and allocation of resources for solutions designs and provisioning;
- Design solutions for B2B customers including fixed telephony, dedicated internet, LANs, WANs, backbone transport capacity, last-mile connections based on fibre or MW radios;
- Ensure customer requirements (incl. SLAs) are fully captured and aligned between relevant stakeholders;
- Directly liaise with the external customer to avoid ambiguities and misinterpretation of technical requirements;
- Provide technical support, consultancy and fast-track solution proposals for bid processes for the business units;
- Develop solutions supported by market data and competitive analysis and prepare business cases demonstrating ROI;
- Manage in-life solutions on a profit and loss account basis, using performance data to make product investment and withdrawal decisions;
- Manage product withdrawal, ensuring that alternative solutions are available to customers, that a migration path to alternative services is properly planned and that the changes are effectively communicated;
- Provide support to the sales team in developing sales proposals, making presentations and closing sales deals;
- Support marketing communications to develop effective communications on products, services and brand;
- Build strong relationship with commercial teams, solution vendors to facilitate better understanding of customer needs and delivery of optimal design solutions that meet customer requirements.
Required Qualification and Experience
- A University Degree in any field with emphasis on Telecom Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines; possession of an MBA is a plus;
- Professional Certification in CCNA, will be an added advantage;
- A minimum of six (6) years’ relevant working experience in the Telecommunication industry;
- Must demonstrate in-depth understanding and previous experience of enterprise products and solutions development;
- Strong technical knowledge in telecommunications, IP networks & technologies, Design & Quality drivers in the Enterprise environment.

Job Title: Senior Application Developer
Key Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end applications for the various business units in consultation with the Solutions Architects;
- Work closely with all business units and third-party vendors, creating winning proposals and successfully delivering products within budget;
- Plan, design and implement solutions and other IT platforms to meet standards and protocols for data exchange and communication;
- Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in the system specification;
- Analyze user needs and application requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints;
- Code and test applications based on application specifications and design;
- Comply with SOA architecture standards, identify areas of improvement in the local Solutions Framework and develop to new approaches to optimize our existing processes;
- Ensure all development practices follow’s best practices policies and procedures in the organization;
- Track and maintaining records and metrics;
- Provide Level 3 support for all in-house developed application.
Required Qualification and Experience
- A University Degree in any field with emphasis on Computer Science or a related disciplines e.g. (System Engineer, IS Engineer, Information Systems Engineer, IT Engineer, Network Systems Engineer) from a recognized university. A certification in Software Development will be an added advantage;
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working in the IT industry (Telco preferably) and experience in Software development (including PAAS/SAAS) and SOA Architecture;
- Good experience in UML.
