WAEC Ghana | How to Request for Attestation of Results

Do you want to request for WAEC attestation of results? Was your WAEC Result misplaced, stolen or lost? But it is worthy of note that the West African Examinations Council does not issue duplicate certificates, however, you can be issued attestation of results.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) Ghana now issues Attestation of Results which are as valid as the WAEC certificate. Users who wish could confirm the details on the document with the Council.

Attestation of Results are issued to individual candidates or persons for their possession. The Attestation must be collected personally by applicants from the offices of the Council in Accra or the regions.

Requirements for WAEC Ghana Attestation of Results

For the issuance of the Attestation, applicants will be required to provide the following details:

  • Your Name (in full as used in the examination)
  • The Name, Month and Year of Examination
  • Your Index Number
  • Passport photograph.
  • A valid identification document.

How to Check WAEC Ghana Attestation of Results Status Online

For applicants who have applied before for WAEC attestation of results, you can now check your status online.

Below are the requirements needed to check your status online.

  • Your Invoice Number
  • Index Number
  • Examination (WASSCE May/June, Nov/Dec, BECE)
  • Examination Year (e.g. 2019)
