Job Title: Research Development Officer

Reporting to the Regional Technical Development Manager, you will support and develop the existing portfolio, identifying new products, leading registration and stewardship of the portfolio to ensure safe and effective product use, to optimize business profits.

You will have the following essential responsibilities:

–     Registration Follow-up, renewals, extensions, regulatory transfers;

–     R & D programs Coordination of the Group, locally;

–     Look for technical innovations based on major agricultural issues;

–     Supervision and validation of protocols, studies and reports; Coordination and monitoring for bio-efficacy, selectivity and residues tests for evaluation or approval;

–     Coordination of pre-extension and demonstration tests for referencing new products in specialized sectors (Rice, cotton, etc.)

–     Be able to understand the development done by our competitors

Training and experiences

–     Hold a master’s Degree in agronomy / agriculture with a minimum experience of 2 years

–     Good anticipation of the overall evolution of the market

–     Good experience in regulatory process in Ghana

–     Knowledge & understanding of the physicochemical and toxicological characteristics of the products

–     Mastery of the technical problems of major crops

Job Title: Executive & Sales Administrative Assistant

Under the supervision of the Managing Director of Callighana, she or he will be appointed to:

Administration

  • Day to day management
  • Negotiation of outsourced agreements
  • Appointment and termination of service providers
  • Performance management of service providers
  • Purchasing of gifts and incidentals
  • Management of CEO’s schedule and diary
  • Managing frequent communications and meeting schedules for other executives
  • Compiling of relevant communications for the executive team
  • Screening and prioritising of all internal and external requests, including telephone call’s
  • Stationery management
  • Co-ordinate all International Travel requirements
  • Travel and logistics planning for CEO
  • Ensure all travel is authorised and appropriate

Sales

  • The entry of invoices in the software
  • Collection of the sums corresponding to the goods sold
  • Record the amounts due for the goods sold
  • Take care of the daily maintenance of the case (change of rollers and ink)
  • Fill out the necessary documents for the accounting department
  • Establish a cash position at the end of the day
  • Greet and advise clients
  • Sell products to customers
  • Invoicing: entering invoices
  • Accounting update
  • Transformation of Delivery Notes into invoices
  • Production of documents related to the sale (Word / Excel)
  • Establish the Pro-forma invoices after checking the availability of the products
  • Invoice management, monitoring in the management software
  • Management of delivery notes
  • Administrative monitoring of deposits and points of sale
