The IT Deployment Lead will be responsible for all aspects related to the Regional deployment of Upfield’s new technology common environment for a period of 6 months.  This role will lead, develop, plan and execute the chosen deployment model across Ghana & Nigeria. He / She will engage and connect the relevant stakeholders and represent the country and global needs.

This is a delivery focused role with a pure focus on managing the partners to deliver on their contractual commitments and ensure successful deployment to the countries within the region.  It is a hands-on role and requires determined tenancy and pragmatism whilst upholding global standards as well as demonstrating intrinsic coordination with both the business and the delivery partners to ensure successful deployment in the country.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years professional work experience
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a Business Partnering / Analyst Role
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Stakeholder Management
  • 15% – 30% regional travel required.
  • Excellent communication skills, including direct customer interaction, ability to answer IT related questions.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts efficiently to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work with a variety of customers from different departments in large and small groups.
  • Strong personal initiative and ability to execute with minimal oversight.
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment ‘wearing many hats’.
  • Background working in an FMCG environment.
