UHAS Recruitment for Senior Staff Positions 2019

Applications are open for interested and suitably qualified candidates for the University of Allied and Health Sciences (UHAS) recruitment for the following position in the University of Health and Allied Sciences Basic School.

Position 1: Subject Teachers (Upper Primary)

Reporting to: Head of Basic School

Qualifications

The successful applicant must:

  1. Possess a Bachelor of Education in a relevant subject awarded by a recognised university with not less than 4 years’ teaching experience
  2. In addition, the candidate should have

    – Teacher’s Cert. “A” or
    – Tertiary diploma awarded by a recognised institution.

Duties

The successful candidate shall be responsible for subject teaching and other such duties and extracurricular activities as may be prescribed by the Head teacher.

Position 2: Subject Teachers (JHS)

Reporting to: Head of Basic School

Qualifications

The successful applicant must:

  1. Possess a Bachelor of Education in a relevant subject awarded by a recognised university with not less than 4 years’ teaching experience.
  2. In addition, the candidate should have
    • Teacher’s Cert. “A” or
    • Tertiary diploma awarded by a recognised institution.

Duties

The successful candidate shall be responsible for subject teaching and other such duty and extracurricular activities as may be prescribed by the Head teacher.
