UEW Christmas and New Year Break Notice
The management of the University of Education, Winneba wishes to inform all members of staff of the University that the 2020 Christmas and New Year break will begin from 12:00 noon on Thursday, 24th December 2020. The break ends on Friday, 1st January 2020. Work will resume on Monday, 4th January 2021.
Heads of the following departments/sections – Grounds and Gardens, Sanitary, Halls, Transport, Security, Maintenance (Electricians), ICT, and Clinic should select staff to ensure that normal services are provided during the holidays. The list should be forwarded to the Division of Operations by 21st December 2021.
With the exception of staff who would be engaged in the running of the sandwich programmes and those who provide other forms of support services during holidays, all others should please note that the three days in December 2020 (28th, 29th, and 31st) which are not statutory holidays will be set against their 2021 leave.
We wish all staff of the University a Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
